Downham and the Failure of Joint Action
John King

John King, the Society's Programme Secretary, will explain how Downham was originally conceived as a housing estate for several boroughs in South East London. When the boroughs started arguing, the London County Council took over the plan. John's talk is from primary sources - the archives of the LCC and Lewisham Council.
