The Span Houses of South London

The speakers will examine the Span Houses that were built in the 1960s when over 2,000 homes were built in London, Kent and Surrey. Mainly two and three bedroom single-family homes and apartment buildings, they combined modernist design with attention to detail and harmony with the suburban environment. This meeting is joint with the Lewisham Environment Trust.
